About Bilgrami & Partners
Bilgrami & Partners is a consulting structural engineering, planning and project management firm based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. Engr. Sajid Imran Bilgrami founded it in 1990, after early practice with consulting companies.
The firm was registered as consulting engineers with the Pakistan Engineering Council in 1993. By its own count it has since worked on more than 1,000 residential and commercial projects in Karachi and other parts of Pakistan, alongside factories, steel mills, hospitals, schools, town planning schemes and repairs to existing structures.
In 2022 the group incorporated Bilgrami Builders & Developers (Pvt) Ltd for development work in Karachi and Islamabad.
Founder
Engr. Sajid Imran Bilgrami
Engr. Sajid Imran Bilgrami graduated in civil engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, in 1986, placed in the first class. He practised with consulting companies before founding Bilgrami & Partners in 1990.
His field is RCC and steel structural design of multi-storey buildings and factories. He has designed multi-storey, factory, residential and commercial projects.

Approach
How the work runs
Investigate
Soil investigation for new work. Concrete tests and steel scanning for existing structures.
Design
Structural design in RCC and steel, with architectural, electrical and plumbing drawings as the project needs.
Coordinate
Drawings, bills of quantities and approvals with the concerned authorities.
Supervise
Site supervision and project management through to completion, or on a turnkey basis.
